Saginaw County Needs a Change

Bill has spent the past 21 years working in law enforcement at various levels. One would be hard pressed to find another candidate of Bill's dedication to the public he serves.

He has spent his adult life in the public eye. Whether it be in uniform or coat and tie, Bill has been there helping to make the community safer and brighter for all members regardless of gender, race, religion or creed.

In December of 1996, Bill returned to Saginaw with his wife, Mandy, and began working for the Saginaw Township Police Department. He served three years as a detective, and was the department’s Officer of the Year in 2001.

Bill currently serves as a road patrol officer where he comes into daily contact with citizens and members of law enforcement who recognize the need for change in the status of Saginaw County law enforcement.

A Clear Choice

Bill’s commitment to community and distinguished law enforcement career make him the clear choice to become Saginaw County's next sheriff.

Bill has spent the past several years actively involved in helping the City of Saginaw work it's way out of an overwhelming budget deficit. When a council seat came open, Bill, at the urging of several community members, applied and was subsequently appointed by his peers to serve the citizens of the City of Saginaw. In November, 2005 Bill was elected by the people to serve on the Saginaw City Council, receiving the most votes of all the candidates on the ballot.

Bill worked diligently to help the city overcome a near devastating budget crisis and he is extremely proud to have been able to step down with a balanced budget and anticipated hiring of additional officers to the City of Saginaw Police Department.
